How to request a certified translation affidavit
It’s easy. When you fill out our online form to submit your document for translation, simply select YES under the question, "Is notarization required?" and you’re all set. If you prefer to send your documents via email, send the scanned copy at contact@daytranslations.com or fax the documents toll free at 1-800-856-2759. Please indicate that you are requesting for a certified translation affidavit. You will receive a free quote from us which you need to approve, as well as instructions before we can proceed with the translation.
The certified translation affidavit (affidavit of translation) will be mailed to you after you approved the finished translation. With our free 1 day mailing policy, you will receive the certified translation affidavit along with the translated documents in a day.
NOTE: All translations approved before 2 PM EST will go out for next day delivery. Also, notarization may take days especially if the certified translation affidavit is to be submitted outside the U.S., in such cases we will inform you of the turn around time.
Please note that a certified translation affidavit is different from a certified translation. A certified translation contains Day Translations, Inc.’s certification with a stamp, official seal and authorized signature, and it asserts the accuracy and completeness of the translated document, whereas a certified translation affidavit contains both certification from Day Translations, Inc. and notarization, where a notary public or commissioner of oaths adds his or her official notary seal and signature.
