Aixinjueluo Puyi, the last emperor

Puyi was the last Emperor of China between 1908 and 1924. He reigned till the Chinese Revolution. Puyi’s abdication was a symbol of the end of a long era in China. His life has been the feature of several books and was portrayed also in Bernardo Bertolucci’s film The Last Emperor which is considered to be a plausible portrayal of his life.
